Making halloween...making halloween

Hello there everyone, ive been getting into the halloween spirit today by making a few paper mache pumkins and demon heads.

The bases where paper mached around a balloon, the process took about a week to complete.

These are great for decorating the garden or a room, if you have a limited budget because lets face it real pumpkins are exspensive.
I used old newspapers and magazines, and some left over pva to make them so they didnt cost me a penny. :)

Planning the halloween costume already. Yes i know its only august but i get a little over excited about the whole affair. So as you may  have figured out the theme is BATMAN... Orginal batman which means anti shark spray and a giant ba-bomb. And then hopfully there will be a nun in the pub to throw it past.

Expect many batman scribbles...

babies, batman, and bruises.

Its been a wonderful eventful July, my best friends baby arrived early, a lovely little boy whom i shall be making many crafty projects for, and mostly batman/ totoro themed.
The teaparty had to be replanned because baby came the day it was planned for. ekk.
but much fun was had by all, and i got to pin amazing hats to peoples heads :-)

BATMAN for those of you who've seen it will know what i mean...for those that haven't important not giving away any spoilers!

Finally I've kinda broken my left hand a little bit. Damn the door for not being wide enough for me to get a suit case through. Its just my knuckle is broken and a sore middle finger :-\

A friend of mines birthday has come around, and we've all decided to have a mad hatters tea party... i've been using the

'Everything Alice: The Wonderland Book of Makes'

I started making crowns and hats out of card, then covered them in paper mache. I used the book to inspire the colour schemes. I used different themes for each one so no one will look like another. I plan on making masks next. rabbits and mice, cats, and ugly queens. Its been a very fun project so far, and I love getting messy.

I had to spend a long time searching charty shop book shelves for this book, but as the old saying goes you wait ages for one then three come at once, the same week i ound this i found the second and then third. The stories are very random, but in a bizarre way make complete sense by the very last page. i still hope to one day meet an electric monk, i just hope he doesn't have a shot gun.

I seem to have gone through all the un read books on my book shelf.. would love for someone to suggest a few more, for the weeks to come.

Ann rice, and Charlaine Harris , both work well with the mystery. the handle weird very well. the 'body on the beach' was a little bland for my taste, i do have a few others in the series, but i doubt i will be jumping into reading them. But i can not wait or DEADLOCKED!!!

there is no logic

Historical Films with a bite

the movie is a fictionalized version of the life of Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford, an Elizabethan courtier, playwright, poet and patron of the arts.[5] Starring Rhys Ifans (de Vere) and Vanessa Redgrave (Queen Elizabeth I), Anonymous utilizes emerging VFX CG technology[6] to recreate exterior period backgrounds in and around old London, circa 1550–1604.

Set within the political atmosphere of the Elizabethan court, the film presents Lord Oxford as the true author of Shakespeare's plays, and dramatizes events leading to the succession of Queen Elizabeth I and the Essex Rebellion against her. De Vere is depicted as a literary prodigy and the Queen's sometime lover, with whom he sires a son, Henry Wriothesley, 3rd Earl of Southampton, only to discover that he himself may be the Queen's son by an earlier lover. De Vere eventually sees his suppressed plays performed through a frontman (Shakespeare), using his production of Richard III to support a rebellion led by his son and Robert Devereux, 2nd Earl of Essex.[7] The insurrection fails, and as a condition for sparing the life of their son, the Queen declares that de Vere will never be known as the author of his plays and poems.

A friend of mine suggested this as a new years resolution, and like everything I'm a little late to get on the train. So week one I read twilight, I thought something simple to get me going.

Here' s the wiki page about the book, if your interested in the saga. I'd say this for the books, they are very good.. a little slow at times, but you soon fall for many of the characters. I tended to lean towards the male characters, which are often written better then the female. charlie swan and jasper hale are my favorites. Also Bella does get on my nerves a little- but shes a 17 year old girl that is bound to happen.

I'm considering rewriting an old tv show.. not on the buses, but something, something from the 70's and make it fun and new and fresh... any suggestions?

Sould i get to work sherlock?

Spending all night watching pride and prejudice and atonement, may seem a waste of time to some... But to me.. its just a Tuesday. :)

Binery and Bach .... Elementary

Even though i knew the ending.. and how and why's i still sobbed so much mum had to comfort me with a cuppa at 2 in the morning while watching the ending of SHERLOCK... i'm not going to give any spoilers, and i feel no need to prove my deduction.. i wouldn't spoil the mystery for other people. :)

Not alot of people reading my blog will know that i suffer with M.E and have for a few years now. This year I plan on started and finishing projects, that i wouldn't have started before because i had been told to 'rest'. fed up of resting, it isn't making me any better so instead i'm just going to go for it.. haaazarrrrrrrrrrrrr

Resalution One Write 10 stories (short/ long/ novel/ script)
resalution two visit places
resalution three have a holiday
resalution four (thats a secret i would have to kill you if i told you.)

i know they seem small but i thought if i start off small and they get bigger thats better then starting of big and having to reduce them which is soul destroying.

ATTENTION- at ease

Did i ever mention how much of a comic book geek i was? No? Well i am.. i'm coming out of the telelphone booth with my tight blue pants over my skinny jeans and i'm proudly shouting i am the goddamn batman... mixed imagery there i know. i've had a week of some good some bad and some down right terrible comic book movies old and new. I started off with the orignial captain america film (1990) omg bad but yet still so amazing, and ended it with the green lantern. I've watched everything from Thor- to hell boy and I can't decide who I love more.

This I know for sure, the new Captain American film is amazing!!!!! its one of the best films to come out since the 5th element.. and to prove it I did a doodle... enjoy

Soundclash O2 Sheffield

so i was up all night yesterday Reviewing bands for Scenesters independent music website.

4 bands in total all of who where amazing, I was terrified that some where going tobe horrid, screaming yobbos going on about their mates or girlfriends or people down the pub but i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of music, original and covers alike. I have two favourites of the night CHOSEN REGRETS & THE VOLCANOES
